SSI React Right Course

The 1 day SSI React Right is SSI’s emergency training program. This course is a prerequisite for the Dive Stress and Rescue course. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right specialty certification.

To sign up for a SSI React Right course, you must be at least 15 years old.

The course consists of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, Primary Stabilization Techniques.

 Two optional components can be added to the course:  Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrillation Basics.

Detailed Itinerary:

 Theory and Practical Training

8:30 to 12:00 pm:  Course registration and completing the course theory and video, followed by some review quizzes.

2:00 to 4:30 pm: We get to put the theory to practice, and work on developing your first aid and CPR skills using mannequins and simulating accident scenarios.
